If you haven’t heard about the Beer Can House, well you are now! The Beer Can House is a folk art house in Rice Military, Houston. This house is covered in beer cans, bottles, and other beer items. John Milkovisch started transforming his house into the beer can house in the 60’s. You can even tour the inside of the house. It’s a must visit spot.

Step into a world where colors burst to life at the Color Factory! From vibrant new exhibits that dazzle the senses to our cherished classics that never fail to charm, there’s always something magical to discover. And guess what? The kids can’t get enough of it – every visit is a new adventure!

Houston has a few amazing and mind-blowing interactive experiences that are a must visit at least once. One of the main ones is Seismique filled with stunning displays designed to entertain and inspire you. The gallery has over 40,000 square feet of the most creative and intensive art for you to enjoy.

E - Eden Plant Co.

Eden Plant Co. is one of the most unique coffee shops we have been too and that’s why they need to be on your Houston bucket list. They are a coffee shop combined with a nursery for plants. When you visit you will transported into a variety of green all around you while you enjoy coffee. Enter into this urban jungle and be refreshed with the clean, green air. It’s a great spot to just relax and do some work or read a nice book.

F - Flight Club Darts

Are you a fan of drinking and enjoying an activity at the same time? If so, you must come over to Flight Club Darts.  They have delicious food for you to enjoy while playing a friendly or competitive game of darts. That’s right DARTS! If you are needing your next photoshoot spot, or a spot to have a nice, relaxing picnic. Then you must go to the Gerald D. Hins Waterwall Park. This is a huge beautiful waterfall right next to The Galleria. It’s definitely a must visit in Houston, especially on a nice beautiful day!

H - House of Blues

House of Blues has everything in one. From concerts of all varieties, to night life, brunch, and dinner. This is a must attend place filled with so many events. Their calendar is a must look through because they have so much filled up for the whole month. Plus if you are a fan of Rock & Roll, this is the place for you.

I - Ipic

This upscale cinema is not like any movie theatre you have ever attended. Experience movies like never before at this dine-in, chef-driven menu movie theater. Eating food there would be like dining at a top notch restaurant, but this time you get to watch a newly premiered movie. The best part? J - James Turrell’s “Twilight Epiphany” Skyspace

Now this place must be on your Houston bucket list, and the main reason is because it is FREE! This twilight wonder structure holds daily light shows that will captivate you. The sunrise and sunset light sequence lasts about 40 minutes, so come for an early morning or at night to experience a peaceful, yet mesmerizing experience.

K - Karbach Brewery

If you live in Houston than you know one of the best things to do on the weekends is visit a brewery. What better one to visit than Karbach Brewery. You most likely have bought Karbach beer from the store, and now you can go experience it in person. Come try their wide range of beers, take a tour of the brewery, and eat some yummy food.

L - Lyric Market

Opened just a few months ago, Lyric Market is located perfectly in Downtown with the best food options for you to enjoy. Lyric Market obtains very vibrant colors and the chic interior design, but still offers an expansive private dining and events space. At Lyric Market you will find a variety of food, from breakfast to Middle Eastern Street food. Plus, they have weekly events for you to enjoy, such as Live Jazz on Fridays, Live DJ on Saturdays, and more!

M - Museum of Natural Science

Science. It’s one of the most fascinating topics to learn about, and no you don’t need to be an expert, you just need to be curious. The Museum of Natural Science is filled with information and facts that will blow your mind. With many different exhibits including King Tut’s Tomb, Beautifica, the Butterfly Center, and more! It’s a must visit in the Museum District.

N - NASA

Space Center Houston is the number one visited attraction in Houston, especially for people who have never been to Houston. Opened in 1992, NASA has welcomed more than 22 million people. Filled with science and space exploration, you can come learn and see a wide range of information about space. They even have programs for students, parents, and teachers who have a passion for science. NASA also has a wide range of exhibits for you to explore including mission Mars, Starship and Spacesuit gallery and more!

O - Ouzo Bay

If you would love to travel to Greece, then we have got you covered. Feel like you have been transported to Greece at Ouzo Bay. Recently opened in the River Oaks District, this Mediterranean restaurant channels the Greek islands with a menu highlighted with seafood flown in from around the world, and having one of the largest Greek wine lists. It’s a must visit for date night or girl’s night out!

P - POST Houston

POST Houston is one of the best views you will get of the Houston skyline. Filled with restaurants that are a must try, markets year round, and free activities/events on the skylawn. This is a great day and night spot with friends, or family. Plus, the photo ops are just breathtaking.

A new coffee shop in Houston and a must add to your Houston bucket list. Qamaria Yemeni Coffee is here to share Yemeni sourced coffee products with you and the rest of the world. Did you know that Yemeni people have been enjoying what is arguably the best coffee in the world for over 500 years? You must go and test it out for yourself.

R - Retreat on the Hill

It’s almost glamping season, and that means to get ready to glamp in style. Now we know this isn’t exactly in Houston, but its a great getaway from Houston, a little north of Austin. The Retreat on the Hill is perched on the highest hill in the area. Come enjoy the most instagrammable, relaxing, and luxurious experience yet. The Stardome is breathtaking just looking at it.

S - Skydiving

We know we all have skydiving on our bucket lists. So, let’s make your dream come true and go skydiving in Houston! There are a couple different skydiving places in Houston, that are all amazing! T - The Breakfast Klub

The Breakfast Klub is seriously the best breakfast in Houston. They daily have a line out the door waiting to be served. Their restaurant is rooted in  “principles of faith, family, kommunity and empowerment; we treat every customer like our family and we believe that family is the cornerstone of any community.” It’s a great spot for all people to come and enjoy a home-styled delicious cooked breakfast.

U - Underground Hall

The Underground Hall in Downtown is a food oasis waiting for you to come. This place needs to be added to your Houston bucket list ASAP. Located in the Historic Market Square District, it’s filled with all of the delicious food you’re craving. They have everything from tacos, desserts, birria, and more. There’s even a bar and beer garden!

V - Vino & Vinyl

If you are into wine and music then you must add Vino & Vinyl onto your Houston bucket list. Vino & Vinyl is a West-Coast driven wine bistro with specifically representing small production and artisanal wines from California. They also have delicious food, that matches perfectly with their wine selection. Plus, they play music on vinyl and play a bit of everything. This is a must visit restaurant and affordable.

X - Xochi

Xochi, Goddess of Flower, is the newest creative restaurant by chef Hugo Ortega. This restaurant celebrates the culinary and indigenous richness of Oaxaca, Mexico. Xochi’s menu is filled with authentic Oaxacan-inspired dishes. Plus, they have a full bar stacked of mezcals, tequila, and Mexican craft beers. This is a great restaurant for a night with friends! Y - YoYo's Hotdog

Yoyo, it’s time for some YoYo’s Hotdogs to be added to your Houston bucket list. YoYo’s hotdogs is a staple spot in Houston. With a food stand parked outside of Little Woodrow’s In Midtown on the weekends, it’s the perfect hotdog that hits the spot Every.SingleTime. They also have a location in Rice Village. Z - Z on 23 Rooftop

Let’s end this Houston bucket list with a BANG! Who doesn’t love a good old rooftop to stare out at the city and enjoy the weather?! You must check out Z on 23 Rooftop, it’s also the highest rooftop bar in Houston. They also have a restaurant, Zutro, located inside for you to dine at. Z on 23 captures the beautiful skies during the day, and the vibrant nightlife.
