Embark on a journey through history with the Passport to Pearl Harbor, which grants access to four iconic historic sites that tell the story of the War in the Pacific—from the attack on Pearl Harbor to the surrender of Japan aboard the Battleship Missouri. Begin at the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, where you'll learn about the events of December 7, 1941, through exhibits and interpretive displays.

Next, step aboard the USS Bowfin submarine, known as the "Pearl Harbor Avenger," and discover what life was like for its World War II crew while learning about the role of submarines during the war. Children under 4 years old are not permitted aboard the submarine for safety reasons.

Continue to Ford Island via the free public shuttle to visit the Battleship Missouri Memorial, where Japan formally surrendered, marking the end of World War II. Explore the historic battleship and join the included guided tour before heading to the Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum to discover vintage aircraft and exhibits highlighting the role of military aviation during the war.
Return to the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center with a deeper appreciation of the events, sacrifices, and achievements that shaped the War in the Pacific. To visit all included sites, it is recommended that you begin your experience by 10:00 a.m.

The Battleship Missouri Memorial and Pearl Harbor Aviation Museum are located on Ford Island, a secure military base. Visitors without base access must take the free shuttle from the Pearl Harbor Visitor Center, which departs every 15–20 minutes beginning at 8:00 a.m. Please allow an additional hour for transportation during your Passport experience.

Please Note:
Passport tickets do not include USS Arizona Memorial boat ride reservations. Entry to the USS Arizona Memorial is free, but timed reservations are required and must be booked separately through the National Park Service website up to 56 days in advance. A $1 reservation fee applies (subject to change).
