Sparkman Wharf: Channelside’s Newest Destination
A part of Downtown Tampa just got a major transformation. Sparkman Wharf is the newest place to shop, eat, and play! With 65,000 square feet of retail space, a dining garden dishing out amazing culinary experiences from some of Tampa’s best restaurants, a Biergarten with over 30 craft beers on tap, and a relaxing outdoor lawn (with tons of seating and games) overlooking the water, this innovative location is something special for Tampa Bay.
We’ve seen teasers and heard talks, but it’s finally happening–Sparkman Wharf is having their Grand Opening celebration the weekend of November 30th! There’s going to be live music, pop-up festivities, fitness activities, delicious food, and our friends from CAMP will be there on December 1st to host their first annual Camp Games! Click the link to register for the games and get ready to put your speed, strength, and agility to the test!
Splitsville recently reopened with their newly renovated look. With twelve lanes for a more intimate feel and a brand new gourmet menu serving up all our favorite southern comfort foods, this is the chicest bowling alley in Tampa Bay. Enjoy new games like lawn and feather bowling, ping pong, billiards, shuffleboard, and more. It’s the perfect place for any indoor event!
Getting there will be pretty easy, too, since Downtown Tampa offers numerous ways to get around. Here are a few we know about:
-If you’re coming by car, there are plenty of places to park
-Let The Downtowner drop you off if you don’t want to drive
–Pirate Water Taxi has a stop right next door to Yacht StarShip Cruises & Events
-Take the Cross-Bay Ferry if you’re coming from St. Pete–dropoff/pickup is at the Florida Aquarium
–TECO Line Streetcar offers free rides and pickups every 15 minutes
-If you’re more inclined to travel by foot but don’t want to walk, Downtown Tampa is very bike-friendly
Welcome to Downtown Tampa, Sparkman Wharf! We’re so glad to have you as a part of our community.
