This year, Second Wind Timing will provide timing for those that register & donate $20 to ACRR's Youth Running Program πŸͺ½

The race will be limited to 150 participants. Bib and shirt pickup will be available prior to the race beginning at 6:30 AM at the starting line.

This year we are dedicating the race to our dear friend Angel Baer πŸ˜‡

Angel is an active and beloved member of Ancient City Road Runners. Her love of running and infectious smile have brought many great friends into her life from the St. Augustine community and beyond. Unfortunately, earlier this year Angel suffered a tragic accident that resulted in her being paralyzed. She is working hard with physical therapy to get stronger each session. After 10 years of running The Gate River Run and securing multiple top 10% hats, this year she crossed the Brooks Challenge Mile finish line with dozens of runner friends supporting Team Angel. This amazing accomplishment was only 8 days post follow-up surgery, this lady is a fighter! πŸ₯Š

In Angel's own words:

"For years, I have decorated my house with Christmas lights and climbed everywhere to accomplish any task I needed to, until one day I came crashing down and life changed in an instant. Doesn’t mean life ended, just changed. I challenge everyone to come on out to the Mickler Mile to celebrate the ability to run. Run for yourself, or run for those who can’t, but I encourage you to take every opportunity to live life to the fullest. Work hard, play hard, and love unconditionally.” 🫢🏽

Please join us on May 26, 2025, to celebrate the ability to run and see how fast you can clock one mile! All proceeds benefit our local community’s next generation of runners attending ACRR’s Summer Running Camp.
