Judy Shoulak was diagnosed with Breast Cancer in 2011. After her emotional battle with the disease, she wanted to use her resources to help others affected by it. She teamed up with her rockstar family and the rest is history!
Since 2011, the Shoulak Family has hosted an annual outdoor music festival called BreastFest. Taking place on the family farm in rural Corcoran, Minnesota, these events raise money for breast cancer awareness, research and education, support, treatment, and a cure.
* WHAT IT IS
Hosted rain or shine in mid-September, the festival consists of eight hours of live music from local Minnesota bands (and even some Shoulaks themselves). Attire is picnic casual and activities include an inflatable bounce-house for children, a marketplace with vendors, and silent auction items.
> Money is collected from the following areas:
On-site vendor sales (handmade gifts & more!)
Silent auction items
> All funds raised go to our Charitable Partners:
Breast Cancer Education Association (BCEA)
The Hope Chest
Park Nicollet Foundation
Piper Breast Cancer Emergency Fund
Susan G. Komen Minnesota
The Firefly Sisterhood
The Angel Foundation
