Cirque du Soleil: Drawn to Life is a theatrical circus show that runs exclusively at Disney Springs, combining Cirque's signature acrobatics and artistry with Disney storytelling. This isn't your typical Disney park attraction - it's a 90-minute live performance that tells the story of a girl who discovers an animator's desk and gets pulled into a world where Disney characters come to life through breathtaking circus acts.

The show takes place at the custom-built Cirque du Soleil theater in Disney Springs' West Side. Friday's 5:30 PM performance is one of several showtimes throughout the week. The theater doors typically open 30 minutes before showtime, giving guests time to find their seats and grab drinks from the lobby bar. Shows run about 90 minutes with a 20-minute intermission.

Getting to Disney Springs:

Disney Springs sits at 1486 Buena Vista Drive, separate from the four theme parks but still on Disney property. The venue has its own massive parking structure - the Orange Garage is closest to the Cirque theater on the West Side. Parking at Disney Springs is free, which beats paying the daily rates at the theme parks.

From I-4, take Exit 68 toward Disney Springs and follow the signs to West Side parking. The area gets busy on weekend evenings, so arriving 45 minutes early helps avoid the parking shuffle and gives time to walk through Disney Springs before the show.

Disney resort guests can take complimentary bus transportation directly to Disney Springs from any Disney hotel. The buses run regularly throughout the day and drop off right at the main entrance. From there, it's about a 5-minute walk to the Cirque theater.

Disney Springs has evolved into Orlando's premier dining and entertainment district, making it easy to turn the Cirque show into a full evening out. Joffrey's Coffee sits just 174 meters away for a pre-show caffeine fix.

For dinner before the show, 1900 Park Fare offers character dining about a kilometer away, though that might be cutting it close for a 5:30 PM showtime. Closer options include Wolfgang Puck Bar & Grill and The Edison, both on the West Side near the theater.

The Boathouse sits right on the water and serves excellent seafood, while Raglan Road brings authentic Irish atmosphere with live music most nights. Both restaurants take reservations, which is smart for weekend evenings when Disney Springs gets packed.
