Bring your children (ages 4-8) to the Nook for an afternoon out! This month we will be celebrating Veterans day and the kids will be making cards for local veterans! The workshop, taught by a Kidding Around Yoga-certified instructor, will consist of fun-filled yoga practice, the making of the craft, and having a ton of fun. All supplies for the craft are included in the price of the workshop. We only have 10 spots available so sign up today!

Mary Bates will be leading your children through the workshop. Mary is a momma to 2 daughters, wife to a handsome U.S. Navy Sailor, and a Proud Navy Veteran herself. She is certified as a Kids Yoga Teacher from Kidding Around Yoga (KAY) out of St. Petersburg, Florida. Mary has been a Yogi for many years and has recently started her wellness journey with kiddos. She had been teaching her own children yoga and it inspired her to teach all children.
Mary has previous experience working at a preschool teaching toddlers the benefits of Yoga, and also has a Bachelors of Science with a concentration in Family and Social Sciences from Fairmont State University, in Fairmont, WV. She is also insured and has her Adult/Child CPR certification.
Mary’s goal is to share wellness with all ages, by teaching them how to be mindful, positive, by using the tools and benefits of yoga and meditation.
