Michigan Women’s Surgical Collaborative Symposium

TheMichigan Women’s Surgical Collaborative (MWSC) is thrilled to host the next Michigan Women’s Surgical Collaborative Symposium on November 2 & 3, 2023 from 7:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Michigan League, Ballroom. This year's symposium will focus on "Embracing Risk."

The annual leadership conference is a platform for national outreach designed to engage early- and mid-career faculty, senior residents, and fellows with experts in leadership and career-building approaches. (Medical students who would like to attend the symposium can sign up for theevent waitlist. We will notify students about available spots approximately a week before the symposium.)

Participants hear speakers on issues and challenges confronting women and underrepresented faculty members and are also provided individualized coaching opportunities based on self-evaluation of their own leadership and conflict styles. This event is sponsored by the Michigan Medicine Department of Surgery.
