Join us for an All-Levels Power Vinyasa Class to celebrate body, breath, and movement led by Aya Mari. This class takes place in a socially distant, outdoor setting before an artist market at The Plant.
The Plant is a diverse eco-industrial park located in the Chatham Beverage District. It’s filled with open air spaces and local small businesses including a cidery, meadery, brewery, a coffee roaster and a farm to fork kitchen that grows their food onsite.
Aya is a Yoga teacher turned studio manager in the Triangle. She began practicing Yoga in 2015 during a period of many life pivots. Through Yoga, she learned to let go of control and to trust the unknown. After completing her 200-Hour Power Yoga Teacher Training in 2017, her practice evolved into a full-time passion. Since then, she has completed and led multiple training intensives, and opened a CorePower Yoga studio in Chapel Hill at the beginning of this year. The physical part of Yoga aligned with breath work is her moving meditation, and sees it as a reflection of the ebb and flow of everyday life – fluid and fleeting Between teaching, managing a studio, building a business, and everything else, Yoga reminds her to listen to her body, take a breath, and reset. She hopes that sharing her teaching and experiences with new and experienced students cultivates a a brighter, kinder, and more connected community.
