Depart Channelside at 10:30 a.m. to meet the Pirate Ship Jose Gaspar and the Pirate Invasion Flotilla as it departs Ballast Point in Hillsborough Bay. We will have close-up views as we cruise alongside the flotilla as it crosses the Bay. Yacht StarShip is the largest vessel in the flotilla and guests will experience a once-in-a-lifetime viewing of the Invasion. Before the flotilla turns into the downtown channel, Yacht StarShip will exit the flotilla and proceed ahead, providing a great view as the hundreds of boats condense into a small channel. Subject to Coast Guard approval, the cruise may return to the Convention Center dock at 12:30 PM and remain dockside until 3:00 p.m. where passengers can stay aboard to witness the flotilla as the pirate ship arrives at 1:00 p.m. There will be Pirate Water Taxis to shuttle any guests back to the Channelside dock if desired after invasion until 2:00 p.m. or it’s an 8-minute walk back to the Yacht StarShip Channelside dock on the Riverwalk.
