About the Regional Staff:Regional Provider Relations staff help operate Texas Health Steps statewide. Provider relations staff report to the Specialized Health and Social Service managers in each of the 8 DSHS Public Health Service Regions. These staff serve many functions, including developing relationships with providers, provider recruitment and retention, provider visits, technical assistance, contact documentation and data collection, formal provider training, expert forums and other events, provider relations activities report and collaborating with partners.
