For the past year, I have immersed myself in time spent with organizations who are too busy chasing impact to tell their own stories. Social media is one of the easiest and most cost-effective ways to tell your story and increase your visibility as an organization. Facebook currently has the largest and most diverse user base, and most organizations have a Facebook page. However, most organizations do not utilize the free, built-in tools that Facebook provides to help grow their following and increase engagement. Attendees will learn how to use Facebook analytics to find out who their established audience is, what they like to see, the geographical location of their followers, and when they are most likely to engage with their page. We will also address why or why not an organization should be on Facebook and how they can efficiently manage their page within the time they have available.
