The 𝙔𝙖𝙣𝙠𝙚𝙚𝙨 𝙎𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙏 𝙏𝙊 𝙎𝙋𝙍𝙄𝙉𝙂 5𝙆 & 𝙁𝙐𝙉 𝙍𝙐𝙉 will be on Saturday, February 19th at George M. Steinbrenner Field. It will be a one-of-a-kind morning as participants will have a unique opportunity to gather together to celebrate the start of another baseball season while running to see the field from the players perspective.
The New York Yankees will offer a live, in-person race and a virtual option for fans that don’t live in Tampa or prefer to participate on their own time and schedule.
A portion of all proceeds from the Sprint to Spring 5K & Fun Run will benefit the Yankees Tampa Foundation. The Yankees Tampa Foundation has contributed to the local community since 1973 and gives to organizations like the Boys & Girls Clubs, Special Olympics, Feeding Tampa Bay, and the Crisis Center of Tampa Bay, to name a few.
All participants will receive:
-Sprint to Spring race bib
-Custom finisher medal
-Sprint to Spring t-shirt
After the race, participants are welcome to stay at the stadium to watch the Yankees pitchers and catchers open practice.
