Tour de Darke Family Ride

JoinDarke County Parks for our 2nd annual Tour de Darke!

Spend your Sunday morning in the saddle on a leisurely ride through the scenic countryside and quaint communities of Darke County.This event isnota race, and instead a tour of the sites. There are three scenic routes to appeal to all cyclists - 20K(13 miles), 50K(34 miles) & 100K(62 miles). A family ride along the bike path will also be offered for those with young children. All routes begin and end at the Bish Discovery Center.

In order to ensure proper support from our volunteers, we ask all cyclists to begin their ride as listed below.
~~Family Ride - scheduled mass-start at 9am
~~ 20k - start at 8am; no later than 9am
~~ 50k - start at 7:30am; no later than 8:30am
~~ 100k- start at 7am; no later than 7:30am
Cyclists are encouraged to finish theirselected course by 1pm- please adjust your departure time as needed. Thank you.

Fully Supported w/ Rest Stops (snacks/drinks!) and SAG provided byCountryside Bike Shop.

All roads are marked (updatedfrom 2022) and a portion will include the Tecumseh Trail Multi-use Bike Path, with proceeds benefitting future bike trail projects. Registration(prior to July 1st)includes a snazzy wristband and event t-shirt!

Pre-order a Tour de Darke Jersey to wear during your tour past iconic Darke County locations such as Maid-Rite and Historic Bear’s Mill. - Check out our store link above to order! Custom Jersey pre-orders CLOSE May 20th, 2023. There will be an option to order a jersey for after-event pickup. Please ask if you have questions on sizing as we may not be able to exchange. Late orders of Jerseys will NOT be available until after the event and will require you to pick them up, you can find these in the store link above.

Parking will be near the start location (requiring a short ride to the registration site) and details will be listed here or emailed closer to the event.
