Yuja Soul: Yoga for Black Women
in community with lululemon
Friday, June 9th
6:30pm - 8:30pm at lululemon SoHo Loft (520 Broadway, NYC)
Welcome to your space to pause, reflect and be with the abundance you are seeking. During this Yoga for Black Women Workshop, we'll take time in self-study - adding clarity to the abundance we are seeking. This workshop will be supported by the Advaita Vedanta yogic philosophy of non-duality, which invites us to oneness with the abundance imprinted in our hearts and minds.
This workshop consists of Somatic Experiencing, journaling and Yoga Asana focused at the hip complex, believed to be the energetic home for desired abundance (sacral chakra), and the shoulder complex, believed to house the energies of 'should's, limiting beliefs and sometimes grief. Practice will lead to Restorative holds before rest.
This workshop is open toall Black Women at all practice levels. Please bring a journal and pen. Mats and props will be provided to support your practice and rest.
The pricing options to join are self-determined based on where you see yourself reflected. To join this dedicated space, select one of the tiers available (community, standard or supporter) that best suits you.
Must be 18 years or older to participate.
