From its inception in the mid-’90s, Celebration grew to become labeled as one of America’s top ten prettiest towns. What started as a historically-inspired community founded by the Walt Disney Company is now a picturesque small town winding through tree-lined streets, captivating architecture, and a welcoming mix of shops and restaurants. Celebration doesn’t have much late-night nightlife so the perfect time to come is in the morning or to grab dinner. Most places close before 10pm.

YES! Celebration LOVES their dogs. Many of the restaurants have dog-friendly seating out on the patio, so you never have to leave your pooch behind!

Average ages of people who live in this town are families with kids or retirees. There’s tons of family-friendly events and activities throughout the year.

The town was designed as a series of compact neighborhoods, nestled between conservation areas, with an emphasis on walking and biking. Off-street trails and boardwalks connect neighborhoods, schools, and town center. Celebration Bike Rental has a 7-mile tour available!

The town represents the colorful world that Walt Disney wanted to showcase in Epcot. The town was one of the last ideas Walt Disney secured before he passed away, so it wasn’t built into the Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. Instead, it became a smaller town called Celebration. To continue to bring that same magic Walt Disney wanted in this small town, they used bright colors and unique fonts to add that touch of Disney Magic to make it cohesive to Walt Disney World.
