King of the Coop is Tampa’s FIRST Nashville Hot Chicken Joint. Winner of Creative Loafing’s Best of the Bay 2019 & 2020Award for Best Fried Chicken!

With locations both in Seminole Heights & Wesley Chapel and coming soon to SOHO, Westchase, & St. Pete, King of the Coop has been paving its way in the Tampa Bay area since April of 2019.

We’re pretty much always ready to feel the heat and definitely recommend getting your hands on the Dirty Bird sandwich–two tenders, King Sauce, house-made pimento cheese on a toasted potato bread bun.

We also offer gluten-friendly hot chicken and fish! Our tender baskets are a clear fan favorite, but our hot chicken sandwiches are totally a hit.
