Bright, flashy, and guaranteed to put you in a good mood, El Vez has a variety of margarita flavors each more mouthwatering than the last! Our current favorite is the Lavender-Honey margarita, made with Hornitos Reposado, lavender honey, jalapeno, lemon, and a lavender salt rim. Divine!

2. Taqueria Amor

Manayunk’s premiere taqueria, once called Taqueria Feliz, has a huge margarita menu, with both frozen and regular options depending on your mood! We love the Spinarita, a mix of frozen margarita and sangria; and the aptly-named Kombucharita, a classic elderflower margarita mixed with Flower Power Kombucha! Taqueria Amor also has a consistent seasonal menu, supplying some of the best holiday cocktails in Philly.

3. El Techo

This year-round rooftop taqueria, located at the top of Condesa, has everything! From gorgeous views to delectable entrees (including a salsa flight), El Techo is one of our margarita go-to destinations! We recommend the frozen margarita with added rum, grapefruit, pineapple, and smoked chile – it packs a punch!

4. Mission Taqueria

Mission Taqueria is one of the most fun places on this list, which is likely why you usually need a reservation to visit! Mission is typically packed to the gills, only proving what we know: this place is incredible! We recommend the Tammy 2 Marg (pictured above), named after Ron Swanson’s infamous second ex-wife, and is made with Mission hot sauce. Spicy!

5. Loco Pez

A small gem located on the corner of E Norris and Cedar, Loco Pez has unreal food and heavily-poured margaritas , making it one of our Fishtown favorites! The Mexican dishes are California-inspired, along with their retro margaritas, such as the Mezcal Mule and the Frida Mimosa!
