Socially Safe Ways to Celebrate
Let’s face it, we’re ready to kiss 2020 goodbye and we’re ready to do so safely. We’ve compiled a few creative ways to celebrate New Year’s Eve in a socially distant manner!
Create a Vision Board
Get your craft skills on and create a vision board! Use images and words to create a collage that outlines your wishes and goals for the new year. Hang it out on your wall and use it as the inspiration and motivation you need to get through the year! (Writing it out my help you stick to your resolution)
Get Festive at Home
Get sparklers, fun decorations for the house and celebrate with your fam. Dress up in your best clothes, head to your living room and throw a make-shift party! Raid the liqueur store for ingredients to make fancy cocktails, wear 2021 glasses and let loose!
Get a Room
Do you have the urge to get out of the house but not be around large crowds? Grab your significant other, family or roommates and rent a hotel room! Find a nice room, watch the ball drop in NYE and pretend 2020 didn’t happen for one night only. There’s plenty of great places to stay right here in Jax!
NYE in NYC
Dick Clark’s New Year’s Rocking Eve Special is an annual tradition for many Americans. This year’s celebration, although virtual, is still going to be fun! Popular artists will perform their smash hits all night long, leading up to the ball drop. Sing along to your fav tunes, sip on champagne and do it all from the comfort of your own couch!
