Florida Heritage Park
Established in 1833, Florida Heritage is a park near Macclenny that is filled with rich history and traditions. Pioneers settled here long ago and some Florida residents are actually descendants of these pioneers!
We suggest bringing a water bottle for your warm stroll along the horseshoe-shape path. The park has mini museums throughout that showcases old the old architecture of pioneers.

Baldwin Trail park is pretty popular due to its accessibility and large space. Joggers, bikers, and roller-bladers comes here a lot to make use of the park, too! It’s something for everyone!
Amenities at Baldwin Trail go beyond the usual drinking fountain and picnic table. While all of that is great, they have an equestrian trail. That’s right! Don’t be surprised if you see a beautiful stallion enjoying the walkways. And visitors never worry about parking. It’s plenty of it right outside of the park!
What we love about parks near Macclenny is that Camp Milton is so important because it preserved the remains of a military encampment during the Civil War! Camp Milton was manned in 1862 for Governor Milton and stands as a beautiful reminder of the 8,000 soldiers that were stationed at the camp.
Camp Milton has a beautiful wetland surrounded by stunning trees. The nature here is gorgeous and we love to stop by for a quiet, calm, and brisk walk. Best part: you can always bring the kiddos with you!
