Let Freedom ring! It’s 4th of July weekend and we have some events that are sure to light up the night! Houston’s fireworks displays, parades, and more are back this year and better than ever.

The annual Shell Freedom Over Texas event is officially back!!
This year’s festivities at Eleanor Tinsley and Sam Houston Park on Buffalo Bayou, will be at full capacity, inviting families to come out and celebrate America’s birthday with them. Live music and activities for the whole family will be included along with the biggest fireworks show at Houston’s annual July 4th celebration.
Step Rideau and the Zydeco Outlaws will open the Shell Main Stage, followed by Walker County, a country sister duo, and rapper Blanco Brown, best known for his hit song “The Git Up.” Then, before headliner Clay Walker takes the stage, country music band Sawyer Brown will heat up the stage. Shell will provide spectacular fireworks to accompany the live acts.

Head out to Sugarland for their Red, White & Boom celebration at The Crown Festival Park! Get ready to celebrate America’s birthday with food, music, and more patriotic fun. Be sure to come in your 4th of July best for fun photo ops, shopping, and of course a booming fireworks display to close out the evening!
Parking is available on site but is limited, so be sure to arrive early. A free shuttle service will be available to attendees from the University of Houston Sugar Land and Smart Financial Centre and is strongly encouraged. Shuttles will run continuously from 5 p.m. – 12 a.m. All shuttle traffic will halt for the launching of our fireworks from 8:30 p.m. – 9:30 p.m. The last shuttle will leave the shuttle lots at 8:30 p.m. Please plan accordingly. No large coolers are allowed on the shuttle and attendees are encouraged to pack lightly.

Get ready for a dazzling display and live music at King’s Harbor! Spread out those blankets while Shotgun Road Band plays tunes until the big finale.
Please park in the parking garage as parking lot space is limited and Uber if possible. Feel free to bring your own picnic, but glass containers are not permitted. As with all other 4th of July Events in Houston, please stay home if you’re not feeling well.

The weather isn’t the only thing that’s hot in Houston! Be sure to check out the 25th Annual Red, Hot & Blue Festival in the Woodlands. This 4th of July event is a full weekend of fun for the entire family.
On Sunday, July 3, ignite your patriotic spirit at the annual Star-Spangled Salute free concert at The Cynthia Woods Mitchell Pavilion which features the Houston Symphony performing a selection of patriotic favorites.
On Monday, July 4, Put on your red, white and blue and get a prime viewing spot for the exciting South County Fourth of July Parade.
Cool off at the pool party following the parade from 10AM–6PM, Enjoy some poolside activities and refreshments while supplies last.
If a pool party isn’t your scene enjoy the Red, Hot, and Blue Festival and Fireworks Extravaganza with live entertainment, and concessions! The festival will be from 6PM–10PM and will close out with a sparkling display in the sky!

Make a weekend out of your 4th of July Celebration in Baytown! Come out on July 3rd and 4th to Bicentennial Park and celebrate America with two days of FREE, live entertainment!
Enjoy tunes from the likes of The Spazmatics, Vanilla Ice, Cody Hibbard and The Band Perry! Be sure to arrive early for the parade, concerts, and fireworks display area to get a good seat!
