This week in DFW we’re becoming Knowledgeable by attending events like HAuNTcon 2021 where you’ll get the ins and outs of everything Halloween, it’s never too early to be prepared! Plus we’re Celebrating local businesses at the Dallas Farmers Market Drink Dash by showing our support and helping the local economy. Yes, there’s adult drinks involved. It’s a win/win for us!

1. Dallas Farmers Market Drink Dash
Farmers Market but make it super adult friendly by throwing in cocktails, yes please! Let’s ring in the New Year with the Dallas Farmers Market and it’s Drink Dash that’ll be out of this world tasty. For just $20 you’ll be able to enjoy specialty drinks, yummy bites, and take home the engraved DFM glass!
You’ll be able to stop by any of these participating local businesses to toast and sip to 2021!

We’re celebrating the New Year AND Catrinas with a spectacular multicultural event presented by Ramblers Media Production.
Catrinas are typically celebrated in November for the Day of the Dead or Día de los Muertos, but most of us can agree that our passed loved ones should be celebrated everyday! Which is what R.M.P. is accomplishing with Catrina The Event!

3. Dallas Black Girl Magic Museum
Uplifting and inspiring women AND girls is what The Black Girl Magic Museum is all about!
With over 8 interactive rooms to take your insta worthy photos, you’re sure to walk out of the museum feeling empowered!

4. HAuNTcon 2021
In these neck of the woods we start prepping for spooky season months in advance and we do it right by attending HAuNTcon! Where they suggest and provide you with “game-changing new products, ideas and concepts.”
You can expect:
- Educational speakers providing you with info such as Haunted House Marketing/Business Plans to Prop building/set designs.
- Fashion/Costume shows & Product previews
- Hands on workshops where you’ll get to create creepy masks, eyeballs, and sooo much more!
- Vendors providing you with the latest and greatest spookiest props out there!
If you love everything Halloween and are pro-hauters and even haunt actors then HAuNTcon is for you and it’s an experience that shouldn’t be missed!

5. Eataly Dallas January Virtual Classes
Daydreaming of Italy and its mouthwatering pizza and pasta on the regular, but due to COVID-19 your traveling restrictions have been limited? Don’t worry and turn that frown upside down because Eataly Dallas is bringing the taste of Italy right to your home with virtual cooking classes!
What you’ll learn in the virtual hands on class.
- Know the ins and outs of everything pasta, focusing on the Southern knowledge of it.
- You’ll learn why and how pasta shapes are paired to different pasta sauces.
- Prepare pasta from scratch and work their dough to create different pasta shapes.
To go along with the virtual class, you will receive a cooking kit. The kit will include high-quality Italian flour, housemade dough, and Eataly pasta with the perfect sauce that you’ll be able to pair to make your own fresh pasta at home!
At the end of this experience you’ll get to reward yourself and enjoy a delicious AND homemade pasta dish. Plus, you’ll have the recipe so that you can create this masterpiece for years to come!
