This brewery, beer garden, and live music venue is full of history! Once an industrial building where airplane parts were constructed during World War II, Central Machine Works preserved the warehouse aesthetic and created an incredible venue around it.
Grab some classic bar food like pretzels, cheeseburgers, Reuben sandwiches, or pizza and pair it with a beer, wine, or cocktail. Enjoy all this outdoors in the kid-friendly beer garden with plenty of picnic tables and areas to hang out!
A family ranch feel paired with farm-fresh Texas fare and seasonal cocktails and beer gives you the perfect excuse to treat yourself. Contigo Austin is modeled after Contigo Ranch in South Texas and features fresh comfort foods and cocktails or beers to enjoy on the spacious all-weather outdoor patio.
The patio also features a fire pit that is perfect for gazing at the stars while listening to live music or enjoying good company. Be sure to stop in on a Thursday for $1 pieces of fried chicken from 5 PM until they sell out!
Cenote is a trendy cafe that is perfect for a casual breakfast, brunch, or lunch and a really big, incredible cup of coffee! Located in circa-1887 house, Cenote has a charming vintage ambiance and an incredible patio surrounded by gorgeous greenery.
Grab a coffee, a great meal, and a seat on the patio and stay awhile! Cenote has free WiFi, so this is the perfect spot to sit down and get work done while enjoying the fresh air.
Located on the Colorado river, Jacoby’s provides Austinites and guests with a delicious meal and a view. Featuring a picnic table-covered backyard overlooking the river, this spot is perfect for date night or showing off Austin beauty to your out-of-town friends.
While you take in the stunning scenery, enjoy southern classics made with farm-fresh ingredients like chicken fried steak and onion rings. Each dish is created with with ingredients from owner Adam Jacoby’s ranch, so you can guarantee local, fresh meals!
From the beloved Austin noodle soup shop Ramen Tatsu-ya comes Domo Alley-Gato Tatsu-Ya, a cat-focused patio bar and restaurant meant to feel like a yokocho (Tokyo alley) with a Japanese tachinomiya (standing bars found in Japan). The patio features tables, booths, and a standing bar, all perfect for you to enjoy your meal on!
The Japanese-inspired cocktail menu focuses on highballs and mix-and-match Chu-Hi drinks, while the food menu features Japanese curry and other tasty options like the ban ban dog, the O.G. wings, or the katsu curry.
This neighborhood restaurant is from the same people behind June’s All Day and Elizabeth St. Cafe, making it an automatic win. Lou’s offers an extensive menu with all your favorite foods, from breakfast tacos to old-fashioned donuts to burgers, salads, and sandwiches.
