Arlington Park is located less than two miles from Downtown Sarasota and makes for a great daytime park for your pup! You can easily let your dog free from its leash with the wide-open, gated dog park at Arlington Park. They have a separate small and dog area too.
If your dog is feeling anti-social, you can take them on the walking path instead of going into the dog area. This 1/2 mile trail has great scenery and provides a lovely stroll that’s not too long or short!

Lakeview Paw Park is a popular dog park before and after work hours so if you’re looking to socialize your dog with others, these times are usually the best!

If you’re looking for a few walking trails before hitting up the dog park, head to Woodmere Dog Park. The beautiful trails are great for a scenic stroll amongst nature. Once you’re ready for the dog park, you can enjoy a wide-open space, free poop bags, water, great picnic tables and tennis balls to throw around. If you happen to stumble in on an off time, you’ll be able to enjoy a nice, peaceful play area! Woodmere Dog Park is mostly sand and mulch so keep in mind that your pup might get a little dirty! But what’s play without a little dirt anyways?!
