Events in Houston This Weekend
Head out to the Westin Galleria for four days of dancing, food, and music! Watch your favorite Salsa dancers tear up the dance floor or learn some new moves yourself! Dance your heart out into the early morning hours at the Latin Dance Party, maybe bust out some of those new moves, too.
There are multiple passes to choose from, so whether you plan on attending one day only, or want full access for all four days, there is a pass for you. You can find pass info here.

There’s nothing bigger than football in Texas! Join Good Sam for the Texas Kickoff between the Texas Tech Red Raiders and the University of Houston Cougars. There will be a ton of fun happening before and during the big game of course, like the Karbach Hopadillo Crawl, a free concert at the Rustic featuring Jon Stork, and some Kendra Scott shopping too.
This is a huge event full of Stuff to Do that you’re not going to want to miss!

Enjoy Labor Day Weekend with a Beach Party at The Beach Houston! Dance to live music from multiple DJs, rent a jet ski and tear up the water, and grab a bite at one of the food trucks. Bring your boat, your floats, and soak up the sun before summer ends.
So put on a cute suit, slather on the sunscreen and head out for a fun-filled day on the water!

Looking for music and dancing from all over the world? Then Around The World Labor Day Music & Dance Bash is where you want t to be! Enjoy music and dancing from places around the globe, you’ll find Reggaeton, belly dancing, Bhangra, snake charmers, and more!
Be sure to dress to impress, as this is a Red Tie event and Cultural dress and colors are encouraged! Tickets will sell out, so be sure to purchase them asap.

5. Exotic Petting Zoo at Three Acres Food Truck Park
Grab the Fam and head out to Three Acres Food Truck Park for dinner and check out some furry friends, too! This is your chance to play with some adorable animals like a Kangaroo, Kinkajou, and Lemur, too! Did we mention the giant Tortoise?!
After dinner and one of the many food trucks and once. you’re done loving on the animals, check out the video game trailer? Play all evening for $20!

Looking for some out-of-this-world Mexican food? Stop by Abuelo’s in Katy for great eats and fabulous drinks that will keep you coming back again and again. Pretty much EVERYONE in my family and work-family loves Abuelo’s. If you ask my Gramps, it’s one of his favorite restaurants!
We can’t stop thinking about their Pork Tenderloin Abrigada, or the papas con chile. Talk about delicious! Vegetarian? Abuelo’s has something for you, too! Everyone in the family is sure to find something they can’t get enough of. Pair any of their dishes with a Watermelon Margarita or a Blackberry Mint Mojito and you’ve got the perfect meal!
