Single on Valentine’s Day? Hugh Grant spoke truth when he once said, “I’ve got a sneaky feeling you’ll find love actually is all around.” There are so many types of love to celebrate this upcoming Valentine’s Day, and we’ve got just the guide to all of the best ways to spend your February 14th!

Whether you’re looking for a GNO with your best ladies or hoping to tap into your creative side, there are plenty of places in Orlando happy to host you on Valentine’s Day! Let’s spend the day of love at one of our favorite local stops in the City Beautiful.

1. Take a Class at The House on Lang

The House on Lang provides the perfect opportunities for those who are single on Valentine’s Day to make plans, make friends, and celebrate the month of love in fun and creative ways!

To kick off February, they’re offering a vision collage board workshop where you can plan our your year in the most artistic fashion. They also offer a watercolor card class, a cookie decorating class, and other fun experiences like calligraphy and mimosas (with baby goats?! Incredible).

So make your way over to The House of Lang to flex those solo creative muscles – there’s no telling who you’ll meet along the way!

2. Wine Walk in Thornton Park

What better way to let your single self shine than at Wine Walk in Thornton Park! This event is hosted every second Thursday of the month and is the perfect place to show your true, fabulous colors surrounded by other Orlando singles! For just a $10 presale you get a wristband, a map, and a list of places you can go for some delicious wine. Pair up with a stranger, who knows what could happen? Being single on Valentine’s Day may be the best thing that’s ever happened.

There’s also a night market, local art vendors, and plenty of live music to keep you busy as you stroll. You definitely don’t want to miss this!

3. A Sunset Picnic by Lake Eola

📷 Lake Eola Park

Picture this: a bottle of champagne, a huge charcuterie board, and a beautiful Florida sunset unfolding over the Orlando skyline as you sit by Lake Eola with your best friends. Now that’s a way to enjoy being single on Valentine’s Day!

Call up your girls, go grocery shopping, and spend the evening living out your cottage-core dreams (in a red and pink color scheme, of course). The path lining the lake is surrounded by large grassy areas that are perfect to spread out and picnic on. Maybe grab an iced coffee from Craft & Common for an extra caffeine boost! There are plenty of restaurants and coffee shops in the area, so if you need a pre-picnic snack, you’re in the right place.

4. A Taylor Swift-Inspired Brunch

Now, what’s Valentine’s Day without Taylor Swift? Le Petite Fete is hosting a Taylor Swift-inspired brunch at Tin Roof in downtown Orlando, and we promise you’re not going to want to miss this. Scheduled for the Sunday after Valentine’s Day, “A Toast to Our Real Friends” has themed cocktails, a live DJ, and even a dance party! We expect the entire “Lover” album to be on repeat, but we wouldn’t say no to a little “All Too Well (Taylor’s Version) (Ten Minute Version)” either.

Trust us, this is the best place to experience being single on Valentine’s Day!

Located over in the middle of Downtown Orlando is Stardust Video & Coffee, a retro and eclectic coffee shop that doubles as a music venue in the evening! They host local bands and put on occasional film screenings, as well. Bring your favorite romance novel with you (or choose from one of their bookshelves) and sit for a few hours in the afternoon, then turn your attention to the stage and end your evening with music from local artists!

To top off your night, take some photos with friends in their photobooth so you can remember the evening for many days to come!

Check out their website for February’s event calendar.

Stardust is open daily from 7AM-12AM!

6. Have Tea at the Tea Room Experience

Last on our list of events to go to if you’re single on Valentine’s Day is The Tea Room Experience! It’s a modernized version of the classic English tradition of high tea located over on Church Street in downtown Orlando. Experience Valentine’s Day as it should be experienced: sipping tea from delicate cups, snacking on delectable pastries, and maybe even discussing the pros and cons of every Jane Austen love interest with your girlfriends.

Reservations for Valentine’s Tea Time can be made now! Included in the $48 ticket are sandwiches, pastries, unlimited tea, and even a Valentine’s-themed mimosa!

If you have other plans for the day or just would prefer a rom-com from the couch to go along with your tea, their Valentine’s Tea is also available for pre-order! It’s $40 and includes everything provided for the sit-down tea, except the mimosa.
