Annual Events in Spring That We Love

A Story By

Spring on the fun! Annual events are a great way to connect with the community, support local businesses, and have fun with friends, family, and other loved ones. Especially right now, we need things like that.

That’s why we’ve compiled this list of some of our favorite annual events in Spring. We’re confident you’ll love them as much as we do!

Texas Crawfish & Music Festival

Come hungry and ready for a great time! Texas Crawfish & Music Festival combines delicious crawfish, awesome music, and fun activities for an incredible weekend event. Whether you attend with friends or family, you’ll definitely have a great time!

At the event, there are multiple vendors serving food like fresh boiled crawfish, cajun food, BBQ, burgers, sandwiches, vegetarian items, snacks, ice cream, and more. After chowing down on some tasty treats, walk around and explore the carnival rides, midway games, kids area with a petting zoo, or the alligator wading pool. Plus, enjoy live music from local artists.

Admission is typically between $5 to $12, making it an affordable, fun-packed weekend event you’ll be dying to attend next year, too!

Home for the Holidays

Walk in a winter wonderland this holiday season at Home for the Holidays, one of our favorite annual events in Spring! Old Town Spring transforms into a holiday wonderland, complete with twinkling light displays, live entertainment, family-friendly activities, photo opportunities with Santa, and tons of holiday spirit.

The event runs from early November until the weekend before Christmas, so you have plenty of opportunities to check it out, but if you visit during the weekend, you may come across special activities! Although the event is free, this is the perfect opportunity to check everything off your holiday shopping list as you weave in and out of stores featuring unique gift ideas, hand-made and locally sourced products, and more!

Texas Wine & Art Festival

Food, wine, and art. What more could anyone ask for? The Texas Wine & Art Festival happens twice a year, once in the spring and once in the fall, so you don’t have to wait as long before the next one!

At the festivals, Texas wineries offer old favorites and new wines for sampling and purchasing, Texas artists showcase their creative art in photography, clothing, hand-made jewelry, paintings, and crafts, and vendors feature delicious gourmet foods and sauces.

General admission for this two-day event is free, but if you want VIP access to wine booths and a commemorative wine glass, purchase the Early Bird Wine Tasting package for only $25.
