Deputy John Kotfila, Jr. Memorial Dog Park is a great place to bring your four-legged family member to Channelside. This dog park is completely shaded, which helps us all out in the midst of summer in Florida! Plus, the whole park is astroturfed so no muddy paws here. We’re all about that!

While you and your pup are getting your daily steps along the Riverwalk, be sure to stop at the Curtis Hixon Dog Park. This dog park has artificial turf, agility equipment, and drinking fountains. Located in downtown Tampa, this dog park has incredible water and city views that just cannot be beaten!
If your dog has an Instagram page, Curtis Hixon Dog Park is an excellent spot to snag a scenic photo! This dog park is in the smaller size, but it’s perfect if you need a little break after enjoying all of the attractions on the Riverwalk!

Dogs need a beach day too! Fort De Soto Paw Playground and Beach is the best of both worlds with two fenced-in areas near the beach, for large and small dogs, and a designated dog beach. In the play area, you’ll find fire hydrants, water stations, and dog showers to clean and cool off.
Fort De Soto is one of the few beaches where dogs are allowed to be off of their leash. Dogs can run freely at the dog beach, which is a huge plus for keeping them active and watching them live their best beach dog lives.

Located in the quaint, dog-friendly town of Dunedin and right off of Main Street, Achieva Dog Park is loved by many dog owners in the area. This dog park has two large sections for small and big dogs. They have hoses installed for water, cooling off your pup, or filling up one of their doggie pools. Plus, the picnic tables, benches, and shaded areas are perfect spots for the rest of the family.
After a trip to Achieva Dog Park, enjoy many of the outdoor, dog-friendly restaurants and breweries in Dunedin.

The two dog parks on David Island are great for letting your furry friend run freely in a gated and safe space. The wide-open area is ideal for playing catch and running all over the place for active dogs! There’s also a dog beach nearby which you can access through the dog park. The Davis Island Dog Park and Beach have great views of downtown Tampa’s skyline in the distance too.

Crescent Lake Dog Park is where all of the neighborhood dogs in St. Pete come to gather for some major fun playtime. The dog park here has beautiful scenic views of Crescent Lake and the beautiful banyan trees. You can walk around the lake and then stop at the dog park where there are designated small and large dog areas. This neighborhood dog park is a great spot to let your pup socialize with other dogs!

If you’re in the Carrollwood area, this dog park is perfect for you! The Carrollwood Village Dog Park offers two separate access areas for small and large dogs to keep all pups feeling safe. The shaded areas are ideal for dog owners to come together and talk about how awesome their dog is while cooling off from the sun. The walking path around the lake is beautiful and very peaceful, too!

Located in South Tampa, Gadsden Park is a nice spot to bring your dogs for a walk around the lake and then playtime in one of their two dog parks. The large trees provide great shade for dogs and their owners. Gadsden Park is oftentimes busier on the weekends, so be sure to keep that in mind depending on how your pup is around a lot of other dogs!

Washington Street Park in Channelside is a friendly dog park with plenty of places to walk to nearby and that city feel. This dog park feels like a locals spot where people remember you and your dogs’ names, which is sweet! You and your pup can easily make friends with others in the area here. The shade at Washington Street Park is great for those super hot days when you’re trying to stay out of the sun.

Not only can your pup run around in the small or large dog area, but they can also soak up some beautiful views along the path near the Bay. Dogs can run freely here, and you can leash them up for a picnic at the park nearby for a full day of fun. North Shore Park is also a prime spot to catch the sunrise!

This dog park in Tampa Bay is great for pups of all sizes! There are two separate areas for small and large dogs at this Citrus Park location, as well as water fountains for both humans and their four-legged friends.

While pups on leashes are welcome at Sparkman Wharf itself, this fully-fenced in, pop-up dog park opened in February to give your dog the chance to play with others off their leash! The dog park can be found in the Garrison Street Parking Lot.
Let your dogs run around and enjoy the Tampa Bay sunshine, then head on over to Sparkman Wharf to grab a drink or some food at one of the many restaurants or the Fermented Reality Biergarten!

The dog park itself is near the Rowlett Park Trail, which is a two-mile asphalt trail. Make a day of visiting the park and bring your family along with your furry friends to the park to enjoy two playgrounds, tennis and racquetball courts and more!

The Jim Urbanski Dog Park is located in Al Lopez Park near the home of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Raymond James Stadium! There is plenty of room for dogs to run around and get their energy out with others, and the park is separated into large and small dog areas.
Dog water fountains can be found in the fenced-in, off-leash areas for when your pups get thirsty. For humans, Al Lopez Park also has playgrounds and a nature trail, so there’s plenty for all to enjoy on a day out!

The dog park at Julian B. Lane Riverfront Park is found next to a boat dock for motorized boats, water taxi stops and kayak launches, so there’s never a shortage of things to see on the water while you’re there.

This Tampa Bay dog park at Waterworks Park is a shady spot for you and your pet to enjoy the beautiful weather. One large dog or two small pups 30-lbs or lighter per person are welcome at the fenced-in location. Dogs must be at least 6 months old to play at the park.
If you dog needs a little more quiet time away from others, the park connects to the Riverwalk for some waterfront views. There’s even a splash pad at the park for your human kiddos!
