Kelly's Homemade Ice Cream
Number one on our list has to be Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream! Kelly, her husband, and daughters opened their first ice cream shop in Audubon Park in 2015 and stole the hearts of Orlando residents with their local and handcrafted ice cream. They’re known for their classic pink and white striped cups, and all of their ice cream and sorbets are made in-house right here in Orlando.
With incredible classic flavors like cookie monster, blondie, ore-dough, and Mexican chocolate that will keep you coming back for more, they also have rotating seasonal menu items that you’ll have to try! Right now you can enjoy key lime pie, summer melon, chocolate fluffer-nutter, and more.
The Greenery Creamery
Another Orlando staple has got to be the Greenery Creamery, Orlando’s little ice cream boutique! The Greenery Creamery is Orlando’s first artisanal ice cream shop that is proud to serve traditional dairy and plant-based ice cream made from fresh, organic, and natural ingredients.
Their first location is right in the heart of Thorton Park near Lake Eola, and it was such a success that they opened up another shop in downtown Sanford in Henry’s Dept Culinary Collective Food Hall! You can feel good about eating their ice cream that is hand-crafted in small batches, pasteurized in-house, and customized for you with each flavor.
Chill Pop Lounge

Chill Pop Lounge is a family-owned ice cream shop in downtown Avalon that is known for their handcrafted gourmet popsicles and other frozen treats!

Bacio Ice Cream Shop
At Bacio Ice Cream, all you need is ice cream! Located off Lee Vista, this ice cream specializes in sundaes, milkshakes, and waffles that will be sure to put a smile on anyone’s face. New to the Orlando ice cream world, Bacio Ice Cream shop just opened earlier this year and already seeing great success!

Mild to Wild Ice Cream Tavern
Do you know what’s better than ice cream? Booze-infused ice cream! Welcome to Mild to Wild Ice Cream Tavern located in Baldwin Park! This ice cream shop offers cold, creamy ice cream made with the highest quality ingredients, has vegan and keto ice cream, and has many boozy exotic flavors for you to try!
Mild to Wild is a part of the Galeria restaurant that overlooks the beautiful Lake Bladwin, and just opened their doors in March of this year! They use local strawberries from Plant City, blueberries from Clermont, and liqueurs like Creme de Tequila, Kahlua, Bailey’s Irish Crea, bourbon, and more!
Orange Blossom Candies and Cream
Just a little outside of Apopka you’ll find Orange Blossom Candies and Cream in Montverde! This mother and daughter ice cream shop is located right on Lake Apopka in the old Montverde post office, and offers incredible views of the lake and amazing ice cream and hand-made candies!
Orange Blossom Candies and Cream takes you right back to old Florida as they highlight local flavors like citrus, saltwater taffy, and Florida marmalades. They’re famous for their orange blossom ice cream, blood orange Italian sodas, and even their Florida wine! The drive is definitely worth it out there to check out this adorable Florida ice cream shop!
Another Orlando staple when it comes to ice cream is Twistee Treat! With a few locations around town, you recognize the iconic building in the shape of a giant chocolate-vanilla swirl ice cream cone! The three main locations in Orlando are Ginther’s Swirls on International Drive, Ocoee, and Lake Buena Vista on Apopka Vineland.

Located right in the heart of downtown Kissimmee, this ice cream shop is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. All ice cream starts out as a base, then you add in your mix-ins, and then they freeze the ice cream right before your eyes!
Choose between regular, sugar-free, lactose-free, or yogurt base, and choose between dozens of different candies and treats to add in. Abracadabra Ice Cream also serves regular food and has bounce houses in the back for the little ones!
The Soda Fountain
Amazing sundaes and shakes, delicious homemade ice cream, and unique gifts, what more could you ask for! The Soda Fountain is a local Orlando ice cream shop located in College Park that is serving up incredible flavors like bubble gum, banana strawberry, peanut butter fudge, and more!
