If you’re looking for somewhere that knows it’s ice cream you have to check out Charlie’s Bakery & Creamery. Orlando’s most historic bakery has been refreshed by Orlando native Tricia Hage to include delicious in-house, super-premium ice creams in their lineup. This mean their ice cream is super creamy, super rich, and super tasty. They have 24 rotating flavors to choose from, including 6 non-dairy options! Try their ice cream by the scoop, in a pint, in a brownie sandwich, or in an ice cream pie! And the fun doesn’t stop there, we’ve left the best for last. Charlie’s is serving up infused, boozy ice cream, that we definitely will be snacking on to keep cool this summer!

First stop has to be Kelly’s Homemade Ice Cream! Kelly, her husband, and her daughters opened their first ice cream shop in Audubon Park in 2015 and made their mark on Orlando residents with their local and handcrafted ice cream. They’re known for their classic pink and white striped cups, and all of their ice cream and sorbets are made in-house in Orlando.
With incredible classic flavors like cookie monster, cake batter n’ sprinkles, and blondie that will make you go back for seconds, they also include new monthly flavors that are a must-try! March’s featured flavors are midnight crunch, unicorn tracks, blueberry cobbler, toasted s’mores and lavender honey vanilla!

The next stop has to be the Greenery Creamery, Orlando’s first artisanal ice cream boutique! The Greenery Creamery is proud to serve traditional dairy and plant-based ice cream made from fresh, organic, and natural ingredients.
Their first location is right in the heart of downtown Orlando near Lake Eola, with another shop in downtown Sanford in Henry’s Dept Culinary Collective Food Hall! Their ice cream makes not only makes you feel good but has a taste to match! In Apopka, you’ll find Orange Blossom Candies and Cream in Montverde! This mother and daughter ice cream shop is located right on Lake Apopka in the old Montverde post office and offers incredible views of the lake and amazing ice cream and hand-made candies!
Orange Blossom Candies and Cream offer local flavors like their Orange Blossom Key Lime Pie Ice Cream, and Blood Orange Italian sodas! They also offer dairy-free options and a new flavor of the month each month! Making the drive out there is totally worth it to check out this adorable Florida ice cream shop!

Next up is an Orlando staple, Twistee Treat! You’ve probably seen the iconic building that’s shape is a giant chocolate-vanilla swirl ice cream cone! The three main locations in Orlando are Ginther’s Swirls on International Drive, Ocoee, and Lake Buena Vista on Apopka Vineland.
Twistee Treat is famous for its rich, smooth, soft serve with a variety of flavors like amaretto, banana split, cheesecake, mint, peanut butter, white chocolate, and more! With plenty of topping options! They are also famous for their twirls, malts, slushies, and sundaes. Make sure to look for the giant cone. You can’t miss em’!

Just a little south of Orlando in Kissimmee is Abracadabra Ice Cream which makes ice cream from liquid nitrogen! Located right in the heart of downtown Kissimmee, this ice cream shop is like nothing you’ve ever seen before. All ice cream starts out as a base, then you add in your mix-ins, and then they freeze the ice cream right before your eyes!
You get to choose between regular, sugar-free, lactose-free, or yogurt base and choose between dozens of different candies and treats as an add-in. Abracadabra Ice Cream also serves regular food and has bounce houses in the back for the kiddos!
