Nacho Taco is a family-owned restaurant that we just can’t get enough of. A Riverside favorite, this spot offers a variety of traditional Mexican food and Tex-Mex style plates. When we’re craving some cheesy nacho goodness, we order the Supreme Nachos. This plate of homemade corn chips is topped with queso, beans, lettuce, pico de gallo, sour cream, and cheese. The cherry on top? They also come with a choice of beans. Nacho Taco is definitely a staple when it comes to nachos in Jacksonville.
If you’re in the mood for some traditional street tacos, you need to head over to El Agave Azul ASAP. This delicious street taco staple won the Best Tacos in Jax 2019 award by News4Jax, and the Best Street Taco at the last Taco Fest in 2019. To us, their nachos are the star of the show. Their crispy nacho chips are smothered in homemade queso dip, a meat of your choice, mozzarella cheese, lettuce, tomato, and sour cream. Our mouths are watering just thinking about them!
Cantina Louie, founded in 2014, is built on the principle of offering delicious food of the highest quality with an ambiance fit for any occasion. With locations all around Jacksonville, and even in Fernandina Beach and St. Augustine now, this Mexican street food spot is probably just a short drive away from your home! Cantina has not one, but three different types of nachos you can order, making this one of the prime spots to order nachos in Jacksonville. Between the Fajita Nachos, Nachos Supreme, and the Grave Digger Nachos, we’d probably say the Grave Digger Nachos are our favorite. Topped with chorizo, carnitas, shredded chicken, jalapeños, lettuce, sour cream, fresh lime pico de gallo, and queso dip, this is easily the ultimate nacho plate in Jacksonville.

One Night Taco Stand is a locally-owned authentic Mexican taqueria where you can enjoy plates like enchiladas, burritos, tacos, and, more importantly, nachos! One Night Taco Stand currently has two types of nachos up for grabs: Fajita Nachos and Nachos Supreme. Our recommendation? The Fajita Nachos! This plate is filled with chicken breast, shrimp, and tender sliced steak grilled with onions, bell peppers, and tomatoes served on top of a crispy bed of tortilla chips and absolutely smothered with cheese. Seriously, just daydreaming of this plate makes us drool!
Did you know? Corner Taco started as a tiny 100-square ft taco stand inside of an oceanfront bar right here in Jax! Of all the nacho joints in Jacksonville, we’d say Corner Taco’s history is one of our favorites. When we visit Corner Taco, we always order the Dyno-myte – and trust us, you’ll understand why. This mouthwatering nacho plate is unlike any other! Order the Dyno-myte, and you get a plate of nachos topped with all-natural white cheddar and brie fondue, piquillo peppers, grape tomatoes, pinto beans, house-pickled jalapeños, and a house-made crema.
