Downtown St. Pete

Downtown St. Pete is definitely a more city feel.  They host many major attractions like the Dali Museum and the Museum of Fine Arts.  They also have the  Mahaffey Theater, if you like to be around event spaces for large concerts and shows.

All around the city are classic and new-age steakhouses, seafood spots, and other great restaurants mixed with different bars and clubs.  If you are more into outdoor activities, there are plenty parks – like Demens Landing Park – along the waterfront, where you can experience boating, paddleboarding, and kayaking!

Old Historic Northeast St. Pete

The Historic Old Northeast is a quieter residential area with old-age brick streets and lush waterfront parks, including the Gizella Kopsick Palm Arboretum and Vinoy Park.  At Vinoy Park, you can experience concerts, shows, and festivals year round!

For your day-to-day, there are great local cafes, casual chain restaurants, and taco spots that serve the city.  The main attractions at Old Historic Northeast St.Pete is the Sunken Gardens which features tropical plants and flamingos, and the Great Explorations Children’s Museum has creative and fun learning exhibits.  This is a great spot to bring kids, especially with their annual pass!
