Though you can play it on the court, we’ve found some of the best pickleball spots in Austin at our various neighborhood parks.

Rosewood Neighborhood Park

The Rosewood Neighborhood is situated nearby Central Austin’s neighboring communities. Full of history, Rosewood Neighborhood Park began as the first public park for African American communities during the Jim Crow era. Now it’s still vibrant with many communities as a great place to swim, play pickleball, softball, and many other games with your families.

Little Zilker Park

Right off of South Lamar you can find a quaint park known as Little Zilker Park. This miniature version of Zilker Park offers 5 acres of green space nestled in the heart of the Zilker neighborhood. It offers ¼ mile track, disc golf course, and multipurpose fields great for various games. This is one of the best pickleball spots in Austin if you’re in the south end!

This hidden gem off of South Lamar, Bouldin Acres is an amazing spot to gather with families or a large group of friends. There is plenty of space inside and outdoors on their lawn pitch patio. Order from their app or at the bar for hassle-free service. You can enjoy tacos from their outdoor food truck and it’s one of the best pickleball spots in Austin, offering several courts to play.

Dreamland

Enjoy tons of interactive activities at this innovative amusement park. Dreamland in Dripping Springs offers 64 acres of wonderful recreation, entertainment, mini-golf, and an arts & sculpture park. A great space for families to gather, Pan Am Neighborhood Park offers plenty of grounds for all of your favorite childhood games. There is also a playground area for everyone to climb on and get their wiggles out. This park is also great for other ball games like softball, baseball, and pickleball!

The Pitch Austin

Relax and stay a little while at The Pitch Austin located in North Austin. This spot is full of fun activities and has four restaurants, two bars, coffee and most of all, pickleball. How to play? Make a reservation which can be made up to two weeks in advance and battle it out with your friends, family, or coworkers for up to two hours! Balls are provided and paddles are available to rent with a valid ID.
