As the weather is getting warmer, there’s nothing better than spending a little more time outside. What better way to do that than to have a good ol’ fashioned picnic?!
We’ve gathered a list of some of the best picnic spots around Orlando! These places are great for a family outing, a low-key date spot, or just a day out with the girls! So, grab your blanket, picnic basket, and a good book and keep scrolling for our favorite picnic spots around Orlando!
Referred to as Orlando’s Secret Garden, Kraft Azalea Park is the perfect place for a picnic! This is a public park with lakeside views and is fully shaded with large trees covered in Spanish moss and framed by neoclassical columns.
All the trees make this a great spot to hang a hammock and get lost in a good book!

Located in the heart of Winter Park, Central Park is full of lush greenery, a rose garden and even a fountain! This is a perfect place for that picnic-in-a-city vibe.
The park is surrounded by a wide selection activities including some great coffee shops and restaurants! Be sure to bring your camera as Winter Park has some great spots for some insta-worthy photos!

Do you live in Downtown Orlando and wish you could find a place to escape the city without actually leaving the city? Look no further than Moss Park! With their towering trees and shaded picnic tables, this is a great place to go to escape that busy city life.
Moss Park does have a small fee of $3-$5 depending on how many people are in your car. They also offer camping and boat ramps that make this the perfect spot to bring your boat, canoe or kayak!
Harry P. Leu Gardens is a 50-acre botanical oasis located just a short drive from Downtown Orlando. This is the perfect place if your looking for a secluded picnic sport surrounded by flowers or a romantic date spot with lakeside views!
Harry P. Leu Gardens also offers classes and tours for those of all ages! You can book a guide for your tour or you can opt to do the self guided tour so you can check stuff out at your own pace! Their classes cover a wide range of topics from art to gardening to even yoga!

Lake Baldwin Park is a 23-acre lakeside park full of grassy fields, beach pavilions, and plenty of picnic tables! Looking for a relaxing place to do some bike riding? Lake Baldwin Park offers a 2.5 mile paved loop around the lake that’s a prefect place to get a good ride in. There is also a sandy beach available if you want to catch some rays!
Lake Baldwin Park is also dog friendly! Dogs can run off leash during daylight hours and get out all their pent up energy.

A suburb of Davenport, FL, Champions Gate is full of ponds and grass-filled fields that are the perfect place for a relaxing picnic!
