The Little Death Wine Bar is the place to discover cool and unique wines you won’t find at H-E-B or even the local liquor store. The St. Mary’s Strip joint started as a passion project from Chad Carey, owner of Empty Stomach Restaurant Group (Paper Tiger, Barbaro, Hot Joy, Rumble & Midnight Swim). This wine bar spot is all about enjoying wine with friends at an affordable price. Little Death also provides snacks for you to enjoy with your glass, or bottle, of wine. Senoritas Wine Bar is a lovely and vibrant wine bar offering your favorite, or soon-to-be favorite, wine by the glass, bottle or flight. On top of the wine, they also serve craft beer, charcuterie, tapas and more. Senoritas Wine Bar hosts live entertainment on the weekends that include a number of local jazz acts. This wine bar also provides private wine lockers for its exclusive wine club members.

Re:Rooted 210 is set in a reclaimed industrial structure located in the heart of Hemisfair Park in downtown San Antonio. Their kegged wine system provides a diversity of Re:Rooted wines on tap for you to enjoy by glass or growler. You can choose from curated wine flights or you can make up your own tasting with their added list of locally produced cider and sake. Experience a world of wine at Re:Rooted 210 with their in-house classes, chef dinner, and other fun events.

Have you ever watched The Secret Garden? Then this may be the place for you. The Candlelight PourHouse is an outdoor secret garden that offers a warm and welcoming environment. The garden contains a variety of herbs, spices, vegetables, and succulents to not only create an ambience but to use in their flavors. You can also find a wonderful selection of wine from some world-famous winemakers. Indulge in Wine Flights and Champagne flights under the stars here in the secret garden complete with candlelight and sometimes live music.

Wine 101 is a rustic wine bar and retail shop in the heart of Old Town Helotes, right outside of the San Antonio city limits. This wine bar offers a wide range of wines and tapas that you and your crew can enjoy in their outdoor courtyard seating. They also provide weekly live music to compliment the buzz you’ll feel after staying here for a couple of hours.

Clementine is a wine bar and eatery that brings its Southern roots to mingle with modern American cuisine. Clementine offers a curated list of wines that they offer to pair with their seasonal dishes throughout the year. Their curations are available in red, white, sparkling, and rosé.

A newer wine bar comer that has proven its worth, Vintage Wine Bar & Specialty Foods opened in April of 2022 by husband and wife duo, Lindsey and PJ Edwards. This wine quaint and cute wine bar is located in The Alley on Bitters. Vintage offers over 150 different wines for you to enjoy at the bar or home. They also host wine tastings every other week, so you can find rare and unusual wines from around the world.
