Are you hungry? If not, you’re about to be! We love bar food and Pittsburgh has some of the best! Our go-to favorite bar food is definitely wings. There’s nothing we love more than being elbow deep in a pile of wings while we cheer on the black and gold. We bet you’re wonder what wings are the best. Have no fear! We put together a list of favorites. Check out the best wings in Pittsburgh! The only question is, what team are you on- Drums? Or flats? Let us know!
We love a Burgh classic! Redbeard’s is one of our go-to spots. Either Downtown or Mt. Washington, you will not be disappointed with the atmosphere, service, and, of course, the wings! We love the traditional buffalo but you really can’t go wrong with any of the 23 flavors! You can also get any sauce on boneless wings! We prefer bone-in but we won’t judge you either way.

Stinky’s is one of our favorite hidden gems and we are drooling just thinking about it. With a variety of sauces and dry rubs, wing eaters everywhere will be happy with the choices! We love the Garlic Parm dry rub but you really can’t go wrong with any of them. Did we mention there were like a million TVs? You’ll never miss a game again!
One of our fav spots to hang outdoors is Bigham Tavern. And you already know we have a plate of wings in front of us! I mean, just look at them! Now that we have our jaws off the floor, let’s talk about these wings! So juicy, so saucy, and so delicious. Grab a seat outside, some friends, and dive in to some of our favorite wings in the Burgh!
We’re pretty big wimps when it comes to spice, but hopefully you’re not! Sidelines has super spicy sauces like the Reaper, Habanero Peach, and Jamaican Jagoff (we love a yinzer option!). But if you’re like us, they have tons of options as well- Honey BBQ, Cilantro Garlic Lime, and Blackberry BBQ, to name a few. Let us know if you’re a sweet or spicy kind of person and which one you want to try!
At Fat Head’s Saloon, we come for the beer and stay for the wings. Or really, we come for the wings and stay for the wings. You could go for the classic fried wings OR (if you’re feelin’ crazy), their house smoked wings are bomb.com! Did we mention they are also gluten-free! Booya! They make all their rubs and sauces in-house and you can taste the difference.
