1. Bite30

The annual Orlando Restaurant Week has been extended into two months of delicious dishes and deals. Here’s the gist: restaurants across Orlando offer special prix-fixe, multi-course menus for $30 each. You get to enjoy a taste of what the restaurant has to offer for a fraction of the price. I’d say that’s a win-win!

With the accessible price point, it also encourages you to hop around the city, trying various cuisines and concoctions. Take-out options are available, but be sure to check with each location first. Enjoy this taste of Orlando all summer long!

2. CommUNITY Rainbow Run

This 5th annual event, supporting the National Pulse Memorial & Museum and the onePULSE Foundation, is a great way to kick off Pride month in Orlando.

This 4.9K Run will take place in Wadeview Park. Can’t make it in person? You’re in luck! A virtual option is available to support the cause from a far. Regardless, this is a great opportunity to get active, support a great cause, and receive some awesome swag. (A t-shirt, backpack, and medal? Sign us up!)

A perfect example of an event offering the best of both worlds. Open Monday-Saturdays through June 19th, the Curry Ford Butterfly Garden offers an opportunity to feed and interact with the beautiful flying insects.

5. Movie Night @ Leu Gardens

Picture it: A warm summer night in Orlando, FL. You’re sitting on a blanket with a picnic spread you’ve prepared, laughing along as the iconic “I’ll have what she’s having” is uttered on screen. I’d say that’s movie-worthy perfection!

Leu Gardens is hosting an outdoor screening of When Harry Met Sally. Outside food and alcohol is permitted, so date nights are encouraged. Enjoy this essential romantic comedy under the stars.ย

Fairy Doors @ Leu Gardens

This tiny Orlando tradition returns June 1st through September 1st as a “flitterific” summer time experience. Twenty fairy doors have been built across the gardens as a way to add a bit of whimsy to the gorgeous property. Make a day and discover a little bit of magic among the flora and fauna.

Maps and individual fairy stories will be provided to share details about each door. Tickets are $10 for adults, $5 for 4-17 year olds, and free for the 3-and-under crowd.
