Hello, bluebonnet season. 💙

We’re living life in full bloom this month because bluebonnet season is nearly here! Our Texas hearts are excited to welcome our state flower following a chilly winter! Now, we here at UNATION know bluebonnet backgrounds for your spring pics are a must, so we’ve curated a few of the best spots to catch them this year.

We are just excited as you are to see the waves of blue around the city as they bloom in March and April but we wanted to give you some local tips while viewing them in the upcoming months!

  • Be careful with the young ones and furry friends as the bluebonnet is toxic if ingested!
  • Watch out for bees as they love the wildflowers as much as we do!
  • Be careful when around the flowers to leave them as you found them and keep them pretty for others to enjoy!
  • Although it isn’t illegal to pick bluebonnets, please be respectful and allow them to grow where they choose!
  • Be mindful and aware of your surroundings while on the hunt for these beautiful blue flowers! There are plenty of spots to find them and safety is a priority!

Now, you get the gist! Ready to find some wildflowers? Read on because here is UNATION’s guide on the best spots to find bluebonnets in and around San Antonio!
