1. Bandera Fiber & Arts Festival - Day 1
Grab your boots and head on over to an awesome Texas Hill Country Experience that will showcase and celebrate Texas Sheep and Wool. All we’re saying is, these furs would’ve been handy during those cold Winter Storm Uri days!
On Thursday at the Bandera Fiber & Arts Festival, you’ll learn all about techniques and creating crafts such as knitting, crochet, tatting, rug making, spinning wool, felting, and sooo much more! Not only will this be a hands-on experience but you’ll also get to view and enjoy the production process from start to finish.
Did we mention there will also be cute and friendly animals on-site as well? Perfect for those Insta photo-ops! Plus, awesome vendors will be selling crafts, supplies for your future activities, and amazing finished products too! Not us hoping to buy a warm, fuzzy hat for future cold days!

“This is an event you don’t want to miss!” as promised by, This Is Texas Freedom Force. Get ready for a day all about Texas Pride and join your fellow Texans this Saturday, honoring and celebrating the 4th Annual Remember The Alamo Ceremony.
The event will kick off with a viewing of the custom wreath at the Alamo Cenotaph, a memorial walk, followed by a moment of silence in remembrance of the 13 days of the Battle of the Alamo (with the bell ringing 13 times as well). Everyone in attendance will get a surprise visit from a Texas Country and Western singer/songwriter and get to listen to 5 great speakers about the Battle of the Alamo and what it means to them.
A few rules to follow: Only Texas flags will be allowed in the event, open carry and concealed carry is allowed and welcomed, dogs are allowed (just make sure they’ve used the potty before because there is little to no grass downtown, and if you smoke, please bring a bottle to throw the butts because we respect the Alamo and the Alamo Footprint.
Casual dress code, BRB shining my boots to meet you there!
Events on the Alamo grounds will comply with both state and local COVID-19 laws. Masks must be worn at all times, both inside and outside. Social distancing is highly encouraged even within parties to keep everyone feeling safe.
