As the name suggests, this candy shop in Jacksonville is known for its amazing fudge, which comes in many different flavors. Along with fudge, Fantastic Fudge serves up assorted chocolate, pecan praline, and caramel corn. It doesn’t end there, customers can also select from a range of more traditional candies AND ice cream.
Their homemade confections have even been featured by Southern Living, The Travel Channel, Food TV, and local publications. We suggested trying their fudge and assorted chocolate sampler.

Peterbrooke Chocolatier creates an authentic American taste experience by using old-school candy techniques with high-quality ingredients. Founded in right here in San Marco, Peterbrooke Chocolatier has expanded across Florida.
Walking into the Downtown location (or any location really) is like walking into a candy oasis! On any given day, customers can find truffles, chocolate covered cookies, strawberries, popcorn, and more, Each treat is hand-dipped daily using a perfect blend of milk, dark and white chocolate!
It’s hard to pick just one item to munch one but we recommend the chocolate covered Oreos, sea salt caramels, and an almond toffee bar.

We can’t talk about sweet treats in Jacksonville without mentioning the largest candy shop in the southeast! Sweet Pete’s, located in Hemming Park, is perfectly fixated in a historic mansion and features multiple levels–the outside is classic but the inside is extraordinary.
Sweet Pete’s offers thousands of varieties of candy and chocolates daily, while also inviting guests to learn how to make their favorite treats. Plus, the first floor of the mansion is a restaurant that is entirely Alice in Wonderland themed.
It’s hard to pick just one delicious treat, so we highly suggest selecting a few. Known for their renowned salt caramels, the shop also offers a range of gummy candies, retro options, as well as a menu specially designed for allergies and food sensitivities.
We promise you that Sweet Pete’s is one of the happiest places to visit in Downtown, and is one of the best candy shops in Jacksonville!

Handmade chocolates in the heart of Ponte Verda and St. Augustine? Sign us up! Chocolate connoisseur, Claude Franques is a french-born, classic trained chef who creates rich-flavored treats using the finest European ingredients.
We recommend trying their bonbons–an item that they are extremely popular! We also love their classic chocolate bars (especially the one with peanut butter) and the chocolate covered pecans.
Life really is a box of chocolates…you never know what you’re going to get. BUT we ALWAYS know that we are getting good chocolate at Claude’s, one of our favorite candy shops in Jacksonville!
