Jacksonville is turning 200! Founded in June 1822, our city has definitely grown over the last 200 years. From its start in agriculture and farming; to the introduction of the railroad, vacation resorts and military bases; to the introduction of movie studios, and southern rock music, Jacksonville is rich with history.

I am so proud to call Jacksonville my hometown & are so many things to love about this city! I love that Jax gives me a small town feel- while also being a big city with so much to offer. From nature trails to secret speakeasies to unique food finds- Jacksonville has it all. My favorite part of Jacksonville is Riverside/5 Points. With its rich arts scene, delicious food from trendy restaurants, unique bars and gastropubs, specialty coffee shops, and so much more, Riverside is a tough neighborhood to beat. I might be biased though- I live there!

I moved to Jacksonville in 2018! I used to visit the city growing up so I was familiar with the area, I always knew I wanted to move here to pursue my dreams. I believe there is something special in this city that everyone can find their place. Whether you come for the beach, the food, or to find all of the best local spots. My favorite part about Jacksonville is all of the local food! You can always catch me at the beach, or in Riverside trying all of the new and existing brunch spots!!

My favorite activity in Jacksonville is attending concerts at the Daily’s Place. I also love finding new restaurants on the water!
