We hope you’re saving some room in that tummy—Thanksgiving is just around the corner! This year, the city of Orlando is hosting dozens of events this month to get you in the Thanksgiving spirit.

So whether you’re itching for a pre-turkey day feast, some festive family fun or an early Friendsgiving celebration, indulge in a food-filled fiesta on Thanksgiving in Orlando! 

Special Events for Thanksgiving in Orlando

Some local businesses and pop-ups around the city are making sure that, once Turkey Day rolls around, you’re ready for the plates full of food and day-long festivities! So tune-up your holiday cheer and expand your seasonal stomach at these local Thanksgiving-themed events.

Food, friends, and drinks on drinks! All of this and more is available at Drinksgiving! Before your relatives come in for the holiday, on Wednesday, November 24 from 6PM–12AM, share a toast or a “Cheers!” with your whole crew at Grape and the Grain Wine Bar.

2. Night of a Million Lights: Holiday Night

Dazzling visitors as 2020’s must-do December activity in Orlando, Night of a Million Lights is a 52-day showing of holiday cheer! Enjoy this fully immersive holiday light spectacular starting on November 12, or join them for an extra memorable experience on select Holiday Nights from November 24–28!

Before you run to the dinner table or run to the couch with a belly full of turkey, start your Thanksgiving off on the right foot (literally) at the 12th Annual Turkey Day 5K in Sanford! Gobble and giddy up to this holiday-themed Thanksgiving Day race on November 25 at 8AM!

5. FusionFest

After you’ve been stuffed to the brim on Thanksgiving Day, keep the family fun and bonding alive with Orlando’s FusionFest! FusionFest will take place at the Dr. Phillips Center in Downtown Orlando over a two-day festival to celebrate different cultures through traditional food, dance, art, and activities!
