We’re beyond excited for this weekend! Maybe it’s because there are so many awesome events in Charlotte. From Warbirds taking over the sky to a GOOEY mac-and-cheese festival, we know there is bound to be something to do for everyone.
Check them out below!
We truly cannot think of a better event than the 4th Annual CLT MACdown. It combines two of our favorite things: mac-n-cheese and craft beer.
For those of y’all who are not familiar with the event from previous years, some of the best Charlotte chefs come together and compete for the crown title of MACdown Champ!
The chefs put their own unique twists on this classic comfort food–just think about all the cheesy gooey possibilities.
There will also be a craft beer tasting because you need something to wash down all that cheesy pasta. Some of your favorite Charlotte breweries will be handing out samples of some of their best beer for y’all to try. For a complete list of all the participating restaurants and breweries click here!
Besides all the mac-n-cheese and beer being offered during the event, there will also be loads of live music, games, and entertainment!
Tickets are already available and come in either GA or VIP! If you opt for VIP you will get upgraded food options, access to the VIP lounge, and other awesome perks.
Just a heads up: this is a 21+ only event and since it’s indoors, no animals will be allowed in!

This Friday, Starving Artists Market CLT and Armored Cow Brewing Co. are hosting a shopping event that will be highlighting different local artists and vendors.
This is the perfect event for after work! What’s better than having a couple of drinks and checking off things on your Christmas list early.
There will also be live music throughout the event and food trucks for when you build up an appetite!

With all the amazing breweries in and around Charlotte, you always have to wonder if there’s any competition between them? Well, this Saturday there shall be.
Unknown Brewing Company is celebrating 5 years of being strange! To celebrate, they’ve invited a bunch of local Charlotte breweries for a pretty unique competition.
Essentially, the competition is to see who can come up with the most strange unexpected drink. This should be interesting! The goal is to brew, filter, and infuse some of the weirdest ingredients together to see which beer is the strangest!
There will be over 20 breweries competing. Luckily, for y’all, your ticket will get you multiple samples of these beers throughout the night. We’re dying to see what some of these breweries come up with! Last year’s champs, Cabarrus Brewing Company, will be back in order to defend their title.
Besides all the strange beer there will be food trucks, live entertainment, and Jell-o wrestling throughout the night!

Expect to see everything from jets to warbirds, aerobatics, comedy, choppers, and re-enactors. This is the perfect event to bring the entire family out to!
Not only will you be able to learn more about these amazing pieces of American history but also pay tribute to all the brave servicemen and women.

Not going to lie, we can’t remember a time when we’ve woken up on Thanksgiving morning and decided thought, “What a great day to run a 5K.” BUT more power to all of you who make it a tradition every year.
The 31st Annual Charlotte Turkey Trot is arguably of the largest, most anticipated runs of the year. Each year, thousands of folks (big and small) come out to start their Thanksgiving morning off the healthy way.
The race starts at 8AM for the 1-mile run then at 8:30AM, the 8K begins. The 5K begins at 9:30AM followed by the Tot Trot at 10:30AM. So basically there’s a specific run/walk for every member of the family.
Registration is already open so we suggest signing everyone up!
