Staff Pick of the Week - Aubrey

The Sunken Gardens are 4 acres of botanical gardens, located in the Historic Old Northeast neighborhood of St. Petersburg, Florida. They have existed for more than a century, and are one of the oldest roadside tourist attractions in the United States.
At The Sunken Gardens you can see tons of different wildlife like cockatoos, parrots, butterflies, koi fish and flamingos – there is even a small bench located right in front of their pond where you can sit and a relaxing moment.
There are so many unique picturesque spots throughout the entire gardens so make sure to bring your camera! Admission is only $12 for adults $10 for seniors and $6 for children under 18. We had such a blast and can’t wait to go back.
