The Best Dog-Friendly Places in Charlotte

A Story By

Fall is upon us so that means cool weather and no more patios! Where will we spend Sunday Funday?

Most importantly, where can we bring our four-legged friends to now? Of course, there is always Charlotte’s wide array of wonderful parks, but with the temperatures dropping, sometimes we prefer to stay inside and ditch the multiple layers.

Don’t worry, we found some of the best dog-friendly places in Charlotte so you and your pup will know every “paw-sible” place to go.

Please check with all businesses for more information about current hours and restrictions dues to Covid-19.

Need a cold brew after work but hate to leave Fido at home? Lucky Dog is your place to chill! With over 20,000 square feet of indoor and outdoor off-leash area, you can sit and mingle with fellow dog owners while your pup plays with new friends.

This bar has a great selection of local beers on tap and awesome daily drink specials. Lucky Dog recently opened up TWO more local locations (in Cornelius and Steele Creek) so no matter what area of Charlotte you’re in, there’s a Bark and Brew close to you!

Just remember, you must be 21+ to enter!

Location Details
🗓 FRI 4PM–12AM
🗓 SAT 12PM–12AM
🗓 SUN 12PM–11PM

Sometimes we just need a night out with friends. The Casual Pint at Rivergate stepped up and spared no day from a lack of fun!

With a Comedy Night, Karaoke Night, Open Mic Nights, Pint Nights, Trivia Nights, and a monthly/bi-monthly Drag Brunch, this place is your new favorite hangout spot. It’s “relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere is much like a coffee shop, but with a focus on Craft Beer.”

The coolest part about this place is that the patio has roll-up blinds that close in the winter and multiple heaters for comfort. People and animals can enjoy the covered patio year-round!

Puppies and Pints? Count us in!

🗓 SUN 12PM–10PM
📍 14126 Rivergate Parkway Suite C-1-500 Charlotte, NC

Awesome food and a dog park attached to the restaurant? We found it!

Seoul Food  Meat Co. is the place to go if you feel like trying something new. If you need more convincing, they even have $1 sides on Monday–Thursday from 4PM–5PM.

Located right in the midst of South End, Seoul Food’s menu works from a traditional BBQ style but adds an Asian twist to every item.

A beautiful outdoor park has been attached to the patio and in the cooler months, they install an enclosed tent for around the year fun!

D9 Brewing is your doggy destination in Lake Norman!

This brewery has an awesome selection of their own unique, craft beers and multiple food trucks that roll through for events and special celebrations! Pups large and small that are well behaved are always welcome inside D9.

They’ve won some pretty big awards in the past two years, including the sour and mixed-wild categories at the Great American Beer Festival (2016/2018), so you know the brews are good!

Beer lovers will eat (or drink?!) this place up, and your dog will too!

Sit. Stay. Drink? We can do that!

Located in No-Da, The Dog Bar is known for its extensive list of beers, liquors, and wines with dogs-a-plenty! They have an enclosed and heated patio for the winter months with cozy indoor seating.

This is a great place to spend your Sunday afternoon and catch a Panthers football game (they have multiple TV’s) all while shaking off both you and your pup’s cabin fever.

Just remember, you must be 21+ to enter!
