This outdoor spot is a hit with dog lovers! The Mexican food is just amazing, and it offers a fresh patio, complete with ceiling fans to keep you cool. They even lay water bowls for the pups! A necessity, especially during the Summer.
We recommend checking out their Chicken Chili Relleno – so good! They have vegan options, as well. Like a lot of other great restaurants in Tampa, they serve Impossible Burger options. They spin a piled-high Tostada, by using Impossible Burger and a yummy avocado sauce.

As the name suggests, The Getaway is a restaurant and bar inspired by your dream vacation. The ambiance of the space is tropical, yet modern, and it’s not touristy. This hot spot has Dog-Friendly Tuesdays where pet lovers can meet other dog owners!
Their menu is known for its Tropical cocktails. You can order your drinks in a classic beach bucket size. We recommend ordering a Getaway Bucket size of the Must-Have Painkilla. This tropical drink features Jamaican rum, coconut cream, and pineapple juice.
They don’t skimp on their food menu either. Their seafood is amazingly fresh and high-quality. Check out their grilled Market Oysters, which are rarely found at Tampa Bay restaurants.
