4 Must Visit Eco Friendly Shops in Tampa Bay to Help You Reduce Waste

A Story By

Is one of your goals to be more eco friendly?  Let us help you out by showing you the best eco friendly shops in Tampa Bay!  Eco friendly shops offer all that you need to minimize your carbon footprint and create less waste in your household.  From refilling your cleaning supplies to your closet, our list has it all!

Check out our master guide below on eco friendly shops in Tampa Bay, then let us know which you are going to visit first!

Sans Market

Sans Market is a treasure in St. Pete, so if you’re in the area – you need to make a visit!  This zero waste lifestyle store sells bulk cleaning supplies, personal hygiene and personal care products, and zero waste tools.  Their mission is to provide you the resources you need to live without plastic, packaging, and toxins!

Here you can replace so many of your everyday items with products that will help you save the environment.  Buying monthly cleaning supplies uses up so much plastic and creates a lot of waste.  We love that you can refill cleaning products like dish soap, cleaning sprays, and more!  The same goes for personal care items.  Instead of spending money on various brands, you can buy things like lotion, toothpaste, and soap in bulk!

Lufka Refillables Zero Waste Store

Are you in the Seminole Heights area?  If you have a passion for being eco friendly, you need to visit the local team at Lufka Refillables in Seminole Heights!  This spot is the first refillable shop, promoting an eco friendly lifestyle through sustainable bath, body, kitchen, and do-it-yourself supplies.  We love that they offer a B.Y.O.C. (Bring Your Own Container) program where you can fill them with different everyday personal care products, cleaning supplies, and raw ingredients.

Not only do they promote an eco friendly lifestyle through refillable products but also through their selection of low-waste home products.  Replace disposables with their cool cloth product bags, plastic-free loofahs, and bamboo toothbrushes!  You’ll always find something new when browsing at Lufka, so set aside some shopping time this weekend!

Valhalla Resale

One of the most popular ways to be eco friendly in Tampa is to shop at a thrift store when you want to update your closet.  But Valhalla Resale in Seminole Heights isn’t your usual neighborhood thrift store!  This spot offers their own membership that allows members to borrow three items at a time, with unlimited exchanges!  Whether you need a dress for Saturday night or a winter coat for a couple months, you can just grab an item and go for only $39 a month!

If you don’t want to commit to a membership just yet, you can also shop normally as if you were at your favorite store.  Their amazing selection is always changing, so it’s definitely one of our favorite places to browse!  Looking for other clothing resale shops in Tampa?  Check out our blog post on the 7 Best Clothing Resale Shops in Tampa!
