Spring is in the air and we definitely feel it!
There’s plenty to do this week, especially if you’re into outdoor activities! There’ll be an Egg Hunt for all the kiddos to enjoy and a “Cocktails and Culture” night for the adults. It’s a win, win!

Reminder: Due to COVID-19, we understand there’s not as much going on as normal in our city. But not to worry, there are still plenty of Stuff to Do in San Antonio This Weekend that can be done while social distancing. Be sure to double-check for any updates at events and venues before making plans to head out.

1. San Antonio Spurs vs. Chicago Bulls
Looking for some exhilarating action to get your blood pumping? If you’re a San Antonio Spurs fan then you know how intense the games can get. We’re sooo excited because fans can now join in on the action and watch LIVE! We’ve craved that adrenalin rush and we know for a fact that the Chicago Bulls are taking that L!

2. Easter Eggstravaganza 2021
The Easter Bunny is coming into town and this time around the fun won’t be virtual! So grab your basket and head on over to San Antonio’s Traders Village for a good time at the Easter Eggstravaganza 2021!
There will be loads of Easter Eggs, tons of door prizes, and you’ll get to take pictures with the Easter Bunny, Superheroes, and maybe even Freddy the Flea!
Here’s the Egg Hunt Schedule (subject to change due to COVID rules):
- Ages 0-3 | 10:30am
- Ages 4-6 | 11:30am
- Ages 7-9 | 12:30pm
- Ages 10-12 | 1:30pm
Also, if you’re in the mood to shop and support local, then the Traders Village has multiple shops and yummy snack booths to visit too! Did we mention that admissions are free with only a $5 parking ticket? On my way to see my friend FREDDY THE FLEA and compete for some Easter Eggs, see you there!

3. SA Roasted Corn Festival
Elotes are “kind of a big deal” in South Texas. You definitely DON’T want to miss out on the 1st Annual San Antonio Roasted Corn Festival where you’ll get to enjoy all the different types of Elotes preparados! Did we mention there will be churro and taco stands too?
After trying out all the snacks and delicious Elotes, you’ll also get to cast your vote for “Best Roasted Corn of 2021” and let me tell you, that trophy is looking EXTRA golden! Yum!
There will also be an awesome, live performance from Liz Garcia LaCantante starting at 2PM. Plus, the Easter Bunny will be in Booth P2 from 11AM to 7pm to take pictures with all the kids! Don’t forget your bunny ears, we’ll be wearing ours!

4. Photo Walk + Wine at Hemisfair
Curious about photography? Do you enjoy wine and good spring weather? How about helping out a great cause? If you answered yes to all 3 of these, then the Photo Walk + Wine at Hemisfair event is perfect for you!
This Saturday you’ll get to enjoy a delicious Texas wine tasting all while you get to experience an instructor-led photo workshop. Don’t forget about the Raffle Drawings with over $1,000 in prizes.
Did we mention that the delicious wines will be served in RE: ROOTED’s signature toss-ware wine glasses and that there will be models sponsored by The Camera Exchange? Perfect for those awesome shots!
The event will be indoors and outdoors too! Letting you enjoy the spring weather and all the great settings of the Hemisfair park. With that being said, there will be plenty of room to social distance and capture the perfect pictures freely. Friendly reminder that masks will be required.
Digital Pro Lab will be fundraising this awesome event and all earnings will support the Photography Department at Southwest School of Art that continues to provide artistic, photo-based education possibilities to the San Antonio community. We’ll see you there!

5. Equinox and Elixirs
Looking for a friendly and enjoyable adult night out? Well, we’ve got the perfect place to enjoy “Cocktails and Culture.”
The Witte Museum will be hosting its monthly event this Thursday with the theme of Equinox and Elixirs, along with the activities and drinks too!
This event will go on rain or shine! So don’t be afraid of the spring showers if it’s in the forecast, because we’re having our fun either way! It’s Spring Break after all!
