1. Make & Take: Chocolate Truffles & Chocolate Bark
Who would’ve thought 2021 would be this sweet! Our friends at Central Market will be teaching you the ins and outs of chocolate bark and truffle making. With Valentine’s Day around the corner this would be the perfect gift for yourself or that special someone.
You’ll learn how to melt chocolate, make ganache, temper, and learn how to roll AND shape truffles. Honestly, the best part of this experience is that you’ll be able to take home a tray of chocolate bark with an assortment of dried fruit and nuts AND 20 bite sized chocolate truffles. Yummy!
Safety precautions will take place to keep everyone safe. “We ask that you return a signed copy of the waiver for each attendee via email prior to class.” Masks must be worn during cooking school and there will always be a 6ft distance. This class will be for ages 18 and up.

Starting the year off right with a great mentality to be healthier and spread positivity!
This year’s message picked by The Young Men’s Leadership Academy 5K Run is from Martin Luther King Jr which goes, “If you can’t fly then run if you can’t run then walk if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”
This quote reminds us of our everyday struggles to keep moving forward no matter the situation, especially now more than ever dealing with this global pandemic. You have until January 31st to grab your comfy shoes, grab a water, and donate to a great cause which 100% of proceeds will fund student programming!
