A trip to the grocery store is always fun, but have you checked out any farmers markets in Charlotte recently?

The Queen City has so many beautiful farmers markets to explore with locally made products, fresh produce, and of course the joy of supporting local businesses! 

Take a look at some of these local farmers markets in Charlotte that we love!

The Charlotte Regional Farmers Market is definitely the biggest and most well known farmers market in the Charlotte area. We love this market because you dont have to wait till Saturday to find your local fresh produce! 

Charlotte Regional is open daily (except Mondays); there might not be as many vendors during the week but it is the perfect time to go if you want to social distance and be able to take your time.

SUN from 12PM-6PM 

*At-risk populations are advised to come to the market TUES-THURS from 8AM-5PM

The Charlotte Regional Farmers Market  is easily accessible from South Tryon Street, Tyvola Road, I-77, and I-85.

Parking is free and abundant!

📍1801 Yorkmont Road

This is your ideal farmers market if you’re really looking for flowers and plants! The Kings Drive Farmers Market is open daily for all of your botanical needs and offers produce on certain days of the week. 

Kings Drive Market is located in the Dilworth Neighborhood and is only minutes away from Uptown Charlotte for any city dwellers looking for local produce.

Produce will be available: FRI 6AM-7PM; SAT 6AM-3PM; TUES 6AM-6PM

Flowers and plants will be available: MON 9AM-4PM; TUES 6AM-6PM; WED 9AM-4PM; THURS 9AM-4PM; FRI 6AM-7PM; SAT 6AM-3PM

Closed on Sunday.

The Mecklenburg County Market is the oldest farmers market in North Carolina. It is centrally located behind the Carolina’s Medical Center, so even if you are closer to the city you can still get wonderful fresh produce! 

This farmers market is located inside for anyone who would like to escape the summer heat as well.  

SAT: 7AM – 3PM

📍1515 Harding Place, Charlotte, NC

Parking is located behind the building.

Get ready for live music, cooking demonstrations, food trucks, fun contests and more at this farmers market in Matthews. 

All market products are grown within 50 miles of Matthews so be prepared for amazing quality and the freshest of the fresh! 

SAT Year-Round Rain or Shine 

8AM-12PM: 4/6/20 – 11/21/20 Main Season

8AM-10AM: 12/5/20 – 4/3/21 Winter Season

Free Parking

Make sure you are up and at it early Saturday mornings to make it to this farmers market in Pineville!

This market is located in the Pineville Town Hall Parking lot and has almost every kind of local produce you could dream of. 

8AM-12PM, Every Saturday.
