Father’s Day and More Stuff to Do in Jacksonville

A Story By

We’ve got three celebrations this weekend and we’re ready to triple the party with some awesome events! Firstly, we’re all about dads. Dad bods, dad jokes, and those chunky white dad sneakers – we’re celebrating it all and it’s apparent it’s still going to be fun despite dad’s awful puns.

Secondly, we’re stoked about Juneteeth! Also known as Freedom Day, Juneteeth is the day we celebrate the emancipation of enslaved Americans and reflect on how we can continue the fight against racism and further the unification of all citizens. As a community, we’re getting together and showing the country how Jacksonville stands together!

Lastly, we’re all about showing some love for Pride Month by celebrating with some fabulous events! Pride Month is about getting together no matter your sexuality or identity and dancing like nobody is watching. If you’re itching to get out the glitter, glowsticks, and technicolor rainbows – then scroll down or hit up our official Pride Guide for events all month. We swear these events will be more fun than wearing hotpants to the DMV (but you do you!).
